July 3, IFIF public relation- Managing Director of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) Hassan Qalibaf said that TSE has been admitted as a member of World Federation of Exchange.

According to him Iran has been admitted to the WFE as a dependent membership and TSE`s full membership in the international Organization of Securities Commission will ease the TSE`s full membership in WFE.

He voiced that membership in WFE is a good opportunity for TSE to adjust their indices with those of other stock markets and foreign investors will look at TSE as a rival for other international bourses.

Presence in annual meetings and different working groups and boosting the international standards are among other advantages of the membership, he added.
